Water and fuel level indicator paste.
Water paste shows exactly how much water is in your fuel tank, allowing you to pump a specific amount from your tank. If the paste does not change color, you can be confident that water is not present in your tank.
The modified water paste has been designed for use with fuels rich in methyl alcohol and ethanol, as well as those containing the DEGMME ice inhibition system. Alcohols are soluble in fuels in varying proportions when they are waterless; but a minimum amount of water can cause alcohol separation in the fuel. The mixture that settles in the bottom of the tank is mostly alcohol and
cannot be detected by normal indicator pastes.
Gasoline paste is used to gauge fuel tanks. Simply put a thin layer on a ruler or tape measure and lower it into the tank; a clear boundary line following the interaction will be visible immediately. This paste can be used with gasoline, diesel, kerosene, gas oil, crude oil and other hydro-fuels.
